Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CertiVere LLC ("CertiVere," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information about you when you visit the CertiVere website (the "Site") or contact us through it.
This policy covers the Site only. If you use the CertiVere platform under a separate agreement, that agreement and any privacy terms in it also apply.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, role, company or fund, website, email address and phone number, along with what you tell us about where your company is today and what you would like to discuss. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page that referred you and the date and time of your visit.
The Site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and the Site's own pages do not set cookies.
Our contact form is provided by HubSpot and loads in a frame on the Contact page. It is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to filter out spam. When the form loads, HubSpot and Google may collect information about your browser and device, and Google may set cookies, so they can deliver the form and check that a person is using it. Their use of that information is governed by the HubSpot Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
The Site's fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry and arrange an intro call;
- send you information about CertiVere that you asked for, or updates where you have agreed to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- operate, secure and improve the Site, including detecting spam and abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies on the Site.
We share information only:
- with Liquid Mercury, which provides CertiVere's technology and manages our contact systems, and with Recurved, where needed to respond to you or provide the services you ask about;
- with service providers that work on our behalf, such as Vercel (hosting), HubSpot (contact management) and Google (spam protection and fonts), who may use it only to provide services to us;
- when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of CertiVere, our users or others;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business; and
- with your consent.
How long we keep information
We keep contact information for as long as we have an active business relationship with you or another legitimate reason to keep it, such as following up on your inquiry. After that we delete or de-identify it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.
Your choices and rights
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@liquidmercury.com.
Depending on where you live, including California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights, such as the right to receive a copy of your information or to object to or restrict certain uses of it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and where the law allows, an authorized agent may make a request for you.
Children
The Site is intended for companies, investors and their advisers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.
Links to other sites
The Site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If we make significant changes, we will post a more prominent notice on the Site.
